ST. LOUIS Former St. Louis Blues center Adam Oates will been inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame tonight along with Joe Sakic, Mats Sundin and Pavel Bure as the class of 2012. The induction ceremony can be seen live on the NHL Network at 6:30 p.m. Oates retired in 2004 after tallying 1,420 points in 1,337 games with Detroit, St. Louis, Boston, Washington, Philadelphia, Anaheim, and Edmonton. He played in five NHL All-Star Games during his 19-season career and was named to the NHL's Second All-Star Team in 1991. In three seasons with the Blues, Oates recorded 286 points including 58 goals and 228 assists in 195 games and ranks 10th in franchise history in assists and 20th in points. In June of 2012, Oates was named the Head Coach for the Washington Capitals after serving as an Assistant Coach with the New Jersey Devils.
