Jordan Eberle had two goals and an assist and Shawn Horcoff scored twice to send the Edmonton Oilers to a 6-2 victory over the Nashville Predators 6-2 Tuesday night.
Ales Hemsky and Jeff Petry also scored, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Taylor Hall and Ryan Smyth each added a pair of assists and Devan Dubnyk made 30 saves for Edmonton.
Jordin Tootoo and Jonathon Blum scored for the Predators.
Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne gave up three goals on 13 shots in the first period and was replaced by Anders Lindback to start the second period.
The Oilers opened the scoring when Horcoff got control of a loose puck in the crease on the power play and backhanded it behind Rinne at the 9:31 mark of the first.
Hemsky skated past a Predators' defender and through the slot to take on Rinne one-on-one, firing a wrist shot over Rinne's left shoulder at 11:39.
Eberle closed out the first-period scoring at 15:51 with a wrist shot from inside the right circle that beat Rinne to his left side.
