Devan Dubnyk tries not to let too many things bother him. He’s known around Edmonton Oilers media circles as ‘The Big Easy’ for a reason. Yet the Oilers goaltender is not ready to just shrug off a disappointing season-opener against the Winnipeg Jets knowing he has to be a lot better heading into the team’s second game Saturday in Vancouver. “It is one game and we play a lot so you have to move on” Dubnyk said. “At the same time you have to let it hurt a little bit and allow yourself to be disappointed because you have to understand that those things can’t happen often. “I need to be better than I was and it doesn’t get much simpler than that. I know what I have to do and I’ve been in that situation before. It’s disappointing. I felt like I let a lot of guys in the room down but they know I’ll be there for them in the next game.” Dubnyk allowed five goals on 28 shots in the 5-4 loss to the Jets Tuesday night at Rexall Place. He was beat early on a long shot by Mark Scheifele let Michael Frolik get one past him on the short side and couldn’t handle Jacob Trouba’s long-range knuckler which tied the game in the third period.
