Many didn’t expect the Montreal Canadiens (1-4-2) to be struggling this bad early in the season. They hope a visit from the Florida Panthers (4-3-0), whom the Canadiens have won three straight against, gives them a boost in the win column in NHL betting action on Monday night.
Montreal will be home favorites at 5Dimes in this contest, but the Canadiens have failed to win in three games where they have been the oddsmakers' choice. Florida is 2-3 as an underdog this season, and they did split a pair of games in Montreal last season.

Hockey goalies often have vivid imagery on their masks, but Peter Budaj has just one-upped everyone else.
The Canadiens backup goalie has a picture of Simpsons‘ character Ned Flanders on the side. The design, created by Dave Gunnarson, revolves around wizardry.
It also has glow in the dark lightning bolts, of course.

Saturday night was a total heart-breaker. I decided to watch the game at Real Sports Bar in Toronto with a bunch of friends who had all heard about the Jumbo screens, and the fact that the place holds 1000 people. As is always the case in Toronto, there were many Habs fans in attendance. To my pleasure, our group which consisted of 3 Leafs fans, 2 Habs fans and 1 Sens fans were...
