Despite the Detroit Red Wings losing to the San Jose Sharks 2-0, Pavel Datsyuk still managed to entertain everyone with a fancy dangle out of his bag of tricks.  San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture, who was celebrating his 24th birthday, got a special gift from Pavel Datsyuk in the early stages of the 1st period.  Couture tried to stay with Datsyuk in the corner and was completely embarrassed; his ankles completely broke on that play and he went down hard in the corner.  This was basically the best NBA crossover dribble and it was done while wearing skates, just fantastic. Since the Sharks got the win, I’m sure that it made things better for Couture, who made light of the incident on Twitter. Hey @datsyuk13 really bro? On my bday…cmonnnn.. Someone fix that ice in the corner..youtube.com/watch?v=LwyVi6… — Logan Couture (@Logancouture) March 29, 2013 [GIF via: SB Nation] [Video via: NHL.com]
