Source: Associated Press After the Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last night, news came out about Tyler Kennedy and several restricted free agents from the Pittsburgh Penguins. While there has been a ton of buzz about Ray Shero’s discussions with Kris Letang and Pascal Dupuis, not much has been said about pending unrestricted free agent Matt Cooke. According to Cooke’s agent Pat Morris, the Penguins want to bring Matt Cooke if they can depending on what kind of contract Cooke would demand. The 34 year-old carried a cap hit of $1.8 million the past three seasons with Pittsburgh and could be due for a raise.
