Carey Price stopped 36 shots for his third shutout of the season to lead the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-0 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night.
Brandon Prust, Brendan Gallagher and Max Pacioretty scored the goals to help Montreal end its season-high four-game losing streak.
Anton Khudobin had 27 saves for Carolina, which snapped a four-game winning streak.
Prust and Gallagher put the Canadiens on the scoreboard in the first period, and Pacioretty got his team-leading 22nd goal in the second.
Montreal has now won six of its last seven against Carolina at the Bell Centre.
After a big save by Price on Nathan Gerbe at one end of the rink, the Canadiens scored on a fast break going the other way.
