Barry Melrose Rocks:
Last night was rivalry night, and I missed it!
The Top Line
The Rangers won convincingly over the Penguins last night. It's like actually playing at home was good for the Rangers. ESPN, NBC, NHL.com, The Local Take #1, The Local Take # 2
New York Rangers 5, Pittsburgh 1 - Pittsburgh sure does have a lot of rivalries, don't they?
Chicago 4, Winnipeg 1 - Not only did the Jets lose, but Adam Pardy lost his helmet and a little bit of dignity.
Nashville 6, Colorado 4 - So it was the Predators that could slow down the Avalanche all along.
Anaheim 5, Phoenix 2 - The #1 star was Hampus Lindholm. Hampus is a name that will never grow old to me.

In the fine Chicago tradition of the Wrigley Field bleacher dwellers (Shane Victorino remembers you), Adam Pardy wound up with a beer shower tonight, but not before being checked through the glass and having his helmet ripped off by the beer thrower's husband. Witness the magic: The beer dump is fairly obvious here. No word yet on if she wasted a decent brew or was just...
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Adam Pardy had a rough go of it during Wednesday’s game with the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center. With the Blackhawks up 4-1 late in the third period, Pardy was run into the boards in the corner and the force of the check knocked the glass partition off its moorings, sending a […]The post Blackhawks fans steal Adam Pardy’s helmet, then dump beer...
I’ve given you plenty of video of this Blackhawks fan stealing the helmet worn by Winnipeg’s Adam Pardy during Wednesday night’s game.
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Adam Pardy had a rough welcome to Chicago on Wednesday night versus the Blackhawks. After being checked through the glass, Pardy had his helmet ripped off and stolen by a fan, then became a victim of a beer shower soon after.
Good old friendly Chicago.

Some lucky fans at the Winnipeg-Chicago game got to see a part of the action in 3-D.
In presumably Adam Pardy‘s worst shift of his career, or at least the strangest shift of his career, the Jets defenseman was the victim of a big check courtesy of Brandon Bollig. The Chicago forward must’ve eaten his Wheaties before the game, though, because the fourth-liner sent Pardy right...
Adam Pardy of the Winnepeg Jets had a rough night. First he had the unfortunate luck of getting checked against the boards and have the glass fall out on to the fans with ice side seats. Then one hilariously ballsy fan took it upon himself to rip the helmet off Pardy’s head and wear it himself. Not, but a second after that another Chicago fan thought it would be in good taste to...

Winnipeg Jets defenseman Adam Pardy wasn’t looking for any trouble. He was just doing his job chasing a puck into the corner. That’s when the Blackhawks’ Brandon Bollig hammered him into the glass, knocking a pane of glass into the seats.
One eager Blackhawks fan made like a looter and grabbed Pardy’s helmet like it was a free sample at Costco. Liquid confidence...
An idiot Chicago Blackhawks fan physically pulled Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Pardy's helmet off his head yesterday. Should have been decked for it. Wasn't.**Follow us on Twitter, Subscribe by Email, View via Our Mobile Site, or Return Home
s/t the Chicago Tribune. This is a story that I saw on a few of the hockey blogs tonight. Winnipeg Jets defenseman Adam Pardy is checked into the glass by the Blackhawks Brandon Bollig. The glass is knocked out by the Bollig check. Pardy loses his helmet in a scrum to an unruly Blackhawks fan. You can actually see a fan wearing Pardy’s helmet while he’s sitting in his seat...
Best game ever T…In the late stages of the third period, Jets defenseman Adam Pardy went to play a puck along the boards when he was sent straight through the glass. Of course then a fan stole his helmet and doused him with beer. That’s why Hockey is awesome. Adam Pardy of the Winnipeg Jets took a huge hit from Chicago Blackhawks enforcer Brandon Bollig during the third period of the Hawks 4-1 victory (a game that was actually much more lopsided than it sounds). Adam Pardy was hit so hard that the force knocked a pane of the United Center glass into the stands.
The entire glass pane was displaced, it didn’t crack or shatter, and no...
Winnipeg Jets defenseman Adam Pardy went through the glass on a check during a 4-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night, and Hawks fans didn’t exactly give him a warm welcome. The Jets defenseman had his helmet ripped off by a rowdy fan, and a few seconds later he got a beer dumped […]
No power play? Poor penalty killing? No goals from defensemen? No matter when you are still the number one team in the NHL with a 13-3-1 record.
The Anaheim Ducks resolved a couple of those nagging issues in their latest victory, a 5-2 defeat of the formidable Phoenix Coyotes, who came in with a five game winning streak.

Adam Pardy of the Winnipeg Jets took a hit from the Blackhawks' Brandon Bollig in the near corner, knocking a pane of glass into the stands.
The glass didn't shatter into the standard four-billion pieces (or two halves) or look like someone got a huge cut to get treated... but one fan wanted a souvenir...
The Hawks won 4-1, by the way...
Hampus Lindholm scored his first NHL goal, Corey Perry got the tiebreaking goal right before the second-period buzzer, and the Anaheim Ducks stayed atop the league standings with a 5-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday night.
Ryan Getzlaf, Lindholm and Cam Fowler each had a goal and an assist in Anaheim's triumphant return from a successful eight-game road trip....
