Reports out of New York say that the Rangers have come to terms with defenseman Dan Girardi on a new six year $33mil deal., following a long and protracted negotiation. With an average of $5.5mil per season, the Rangers have solidified their blueline, at a cost that fits nicely into the framework of the salary cap.
