Jim Cerny at Blueshirts United posts these quotes from practice today on Rangers thoughts regarding tonight's opponent the Anaheim Ducks...

Brad Richards...

"They have a great line that is very dangerous, waiting to explode. They haven't scored a lot of goals this year, though they had some the other night, but they are not going to stay like that all year so we have to be very aware of that line. And they have good goaltending, too, so it's another big challenge. In the end we just have to worry about ourselves and put out that game we had the other night back out on the ice. If we keep doing that, that will give us the best chance of winning."

Ryan McDonagh...

"They've got a combination of everything you want. They've got size in Getzlaf and Perry, and speed with Ryan---actually the other guys can fly too---and they all have such good hockey sense of the game. They always know where each other is at, and it's definitely tough to defend. If we can keep our forecheck going when they are on the ice and tire them out in their own zone then it wears on them during the game, they won't have as much speed coming through the neutral zone. That's probably the biggest thing against them."

The Ducks are 5-5-2 and in last place in the Pacific Division.

...could care less that this Ducks team is in last place. When you have players like Getzlaf, Perry and Ryan on the team they are dangerous. Happy to see the Rangers are aware of it.
