(Photo by: @krazykylepreds) After witnessing one of the worst non-call in the Nashville Predators history, it is time for reaction to what happened around the league. What happened?: Matt Duchene was offside by a good three to four feet entering the Nashville zone. Duchene receives the puck and goes on a breakaway against Chris Mason. The Avalanche sniper was able to go topshelf on Mason. The goal was scored at 3:18 in the 2nd. Here are reactions from around the league. Ladies and gentlemen, the worst no-call of the season. #BlownOffsides — Willy Daunic (@WillyD1025) February 18, 2013   That was so far offsides, you could have Hal Gill lie down in between Duschene and the blue line, and there'd still be whitespace. #Preds — Eric Shuff (@ericshuff) February 18, 2013   That puck was in boulder.. . duchene was in denver. nice call refholes — Big Ben (@BigBenPreds) February 18, 2013   Oh my goodness, I've never seen a level of offsides that offside. Barry Trotz is livid, as he most definitely should be — The Predatorial (@ThePredatorial) February 18, 2013   @joshuacooper that's the worst I've ever seen. I mean, at any level. — Justin (@jtbourne) February 18, 2013   Duchene was at least 5ft offside there.I'll take it,but wow what a blown call — jibble scribbits (@Jibblescribbits) February 18, 2013   Duchene was offside by a foot. Jeez. — Joe Yerdon (@JoeYerdonPHT) February 18, 2013   Worst off side missed call ever. Ever. #Nashville #Avalanche — Darren R Pang (@Panger40) February 18, 2013   I just witnessed the worst offside non-call in hockey history in the Nashville/Colorado game. Brutal non call on Colorado's third goal. — John Walton (@WaltonCaps) February 18, 2013   Sliiiiightly offside for the breakaway resulting in a goal #Avs #Preds twitter.com/HockeyMeesh/st… — Meesh (@HockeyMeesh) February 18, 2013   Maybe the refs have been smokin weed... Linesman misses offside call, results in goal

Sometimes in sports, the worst officiating calls are the ones that aren’t even made. That was the case Monday in Colorado where the Avalanche and Predators got together for a little holiday matinee hockey. The two clubs faced off in Denver in what ended up being a wild affair, with the Avs coming away with a 6-5 win. They were certainly helped by an egregious non-call, however...

Detroit Red Wings forward Pavel Datsyuk is simply amazing.  The things he can do with a puck are absolutely astounding.  He scored this incredible goal on Tuesday night against the Nashville Predators to tie the game late in the third period.  Not many players have the ability to skate through five players and then beat one of the best goalies in the NHL.  You could see Datsyuk...

Gaustad’s presence missed after injury in 6-5 loss to Colorado

Photo Credit: Bruce Bennett/Getty Images Nashville defense, one of the stingiest in the NHL, simply failed them this afternoon. In the higher altitudes of Denver, the Nashville Predators dropped a wild and offense-filled game 6-5 against the Colorado Avalanche. A fact that seemed to be lost in the overshadowing of the blown offsides call was the loss of Predators faceoff specialist...

The missed off-sides call was egregious but Preds squandered other opportunities in loss…

It was one of the worst non-calls of all-time. St. Louis Blues color man and former NHL goaltender Darren Pang said it was the worst of all-time. Haven’t seen it yet? See for yourself. Peter McNab and the Colorado Avalanche TV crew are known for being some of the biggest “homers” in the league. So it speaks volumes when even they said Matt Duchene should have been whistled...
