The Bruins are coming off an emotional, comeback victory over the Penguins, but they won’t have any time to dwell on all that transpired on Saturday night. The B’s are back at it again on Sunday night, taking on the Maple Leafs in Toronto, but Reilly Smith isn’t worried about the quick turnaround. The young winger, who netted his sixth goal of the season against the Pens, said the Bruins have no choice but to “turn the page pretty fast” and keep their focus on the task at hand. Check out the above video to hear what else Smith had to say.Filed under: Boston Bruins, Boston Bruins Video, Bruins Face-Off Live, NESN Video, Top Stories, Video

WATCH: Dion Phaneuf delivers ugly hit to Kevan Miller from behind

The Boston Bruins have found themselves in the middle of some ugly hits and incidents on the ice over the past few days, and the latest ones comes via Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf. The Leafs defenseman laid this ugly hit on Bruins d-man Kevan Miller later in the third period and, somehow, wasn’t called for a penalty. It was an obvious boarding infraction and Phaneuf may still...

WATCH: Orpik stretchered off ice after attack from Shawn Thornton

An ugly, ugly scene unfolded in Boston on Saturday night when Brooks Orpik had to be stretchered off the ice during the first period of the Penguins-Bruins game. After Orpik delivered a brutal hit on Bruins forward Loui Eriksson earlier in the period, Bruins enforcer Shawn Thornton challenged him to a fight and, when Orpik declined, jumped the Penguins defenseman. During a scrum...

Dougie Hamilton Heading Back to Boston With Lower-Body Injury, Likely to Miss Rest of Trip

Bruins defensemen have been bitten bad by the injury bug, and that trend continued Sunday night in Toronto. For the fifth time this season, the Bruins were forced to finish a game down a defenseman after Dougie Hamilton left the game following the first period. Hamilton suffered a lower-body injury late in the first and ended up heading back to the locker room. The Bruins announced...

Boston Bruins Week in Review: 12/2/13 - 12/8/13

After a wild four day stretch of hockey which saw the Boston Bruins lose to their archrivals from Montreal, make a frantic comeback in a physical game against the Penguins, and travel to Toronto to defeat their friends from last year's stunning playoff series, here are some quick questions surrounding the team: What caused Shawn Thornton to morph into Sean Avery or Matt Cooke...

Brooks Orpik taken off on stretcher after Shawn Thornton cheap shot

The Boston Bruins-Pittsburgh Penguins game was extremely chippy on Saturday, but this play Bruins forward Shawn Thornton made on Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik was ridiculous.  During a confrontation after the whistle, Thornton slew-footed Orpik and then punched him twice while he was down on the ice and knocked him out cold.  Orpik had to be taken off on a stretcher, but flew...

Berkshire Bank Faceoff: Ryan Spooner, Matt Fraser Look to Give Bruins Spark Against Toronto

The Bruins will look much different on Sunday night than they did on Saturday night. That probably goes without saying. Chris Kelly and Loui Eriksson are out with injuries while Shawn Thornton is awaiting to hear his fate from the league office. So the Bruins...

Kevan Miller Leaves Game After Being Boarded by Dion Phaneuf Late in Bruins Win (GIF)

The Bruins can’t buy a break when it comes to defensemen, and that continued Sunday night in Toronto. With Dougie Hamilton already out with presumably a lower-body injury suffered in the first period, the Bruins also lost Kevan Miller in the final moments of an eventual 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs. Miller was the victim of what looked to be an illegal hit from Toronto captain...

Where Was The Penalty For Dion Phaneuf’s Hit On Kevan Miller?

A.B. For years to come when new refs are trained and tenured refs go through continuing education programs in the NHL, this hit will be shown. This is the most outrageous non-call I have seen in my 25+ years as a hockey fan. Hits like these are exactly why youth hockey programs are putting STOP signs on the back of jerseys. This wasn’t a “he turned at the last second,” or “I...
