from Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly, When the Flyers held their break-up day on May 10, the words emanating from Jagr clearly indicated the club’s chances to re-sign him were questionable.
Jagr was asked three times about re-signing and avoided answering questions directly, while deferring to his “role” as being an issue on coming back for the 2012-13 season.
He didn’t like being bounced off Claude Giroux’s line or having his minutes cut during the playoffs, even though it was plain he was laboring to skate because of injury.
Jagr’s position in May was in stark contrast to Jan. 19 when he told reporters he was going to re-sign as a Flyer without reservation.
Well, once again, something has changed….
Agent Petr Svoboda, the former heart-on-his-sleeve Flyer defenseman, told CSNPhilly.com on Wednesday night that Jagr wants to come back and that the two sides are working on another one-year deal for next season.

Jaromir Jagr wants to return for another season with the Philadelphia Flyers and the two sides are working on a new one-year deal, the future Hall of Famer's agent reportedly said Wednesday night.
Last month, it was questionable that the 40-year-old would re-sign with the Flyers after he became annoyed at having his minutes cut during the playoffs.
But his agent Petr Svoboda...
According to CSNPhilly’s Tim Pannacio, the Flyers and Jaromir Jagr are currently working on a new deal to keep the future Hall of Famer in orange and black.
Pannacio spoke with Jagr’s agent, former Flyers defenseman Petr Svoboda. Paul Holmgren has openly admitted the Flyers are interested in having Jagr return, but the hold up seemed to be on Jagr’s side.

Earlier this week, Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren reiterated his confidence that the club will be able to re-sign impending unrestricted free agent Matt Carle on July 1. It appears as if the basic framework for a deal has already been agreed upon, and it is the tagging space issue that prevents the club from re-signing Carle (or Jaromir Jagr) until the new temporary $70.3 million...
As first reported yesterday in the Czech Republic and then expanded upon by Tim Panaccio, the Flyers now appear on track to get a new one-year contract done with Jaromir Jagr.
