Rick Nash has not returned from the locker room after the first intermission, and will not play for the rest of the game. John Giannone announced on the Rangers broadcast that Nash is suffering from some ill effects after taking a Brad Stuart elbow to the head. Naturally we are all thinking concussion, but let’s just hope he’s just a little dizzy.

5 Bold Predictions for the New York Rangers in 2013/’14
The New York Rangers certainly didn’t inspire much optimism in their season opener, losing tamely to the Phoenix Coyotes 4-1. With that in mind, here are five bold (read: optimistic) predictions for the team in the 2013/’14 campaign.
1. Rick Nash will secure his first 100-point season
Rick Nash is poised for...
Per Nick Cotsonika, Rick Nash is expected to be out 7-10 days after being the recipient of a high hit from Brad Stuart. Luckily for the Rangers, New York has a light schedule, with just three or four games in that time frame. This is Nash’s second concussion with the Rangers.
If Nash misses three games, then this will be the first time a suspension lasts for the duration of the...

Rick Nash will miss at least the Rangers’ next two games after suffering a head injury on Brad Stuart’s shoulder check in Tuesday night’s 9-2 loss at San Jose, for which the Sharks defenseman was suspended three games by the NHL on Wednesday.
The Rangers announced today that Nash has been sent back to New York so he will not dress...
New York Rangers forward Rick Nash left Tuesday’s game after he was hit with an elbow from San Jose Sharks defenceman Brad Stuart early in the first period.
Stuart was given a two-minute minor for elbowing while Nash appeared shaken up as he made his way to the Rangers bench.
Nash returned to the game briefly registering just under six minutes of ice time but did not come out...
The Rangers were run out of the building Tuesday night in San Jose, but the worst news for the Blueshirts from the game may not be received just yet.
That’s because the Rangers’ most important offensive player, Rick Nash, left the game early after taking a hit up around the head area. Nash, who battled a concussion last season, skated a few shifts after the hit but didn’t return...
San Jose Sharks defenseman Brad Stuart has been suspended for three games, without pay, by the NHL for an illegal check to the head of New York Rangers forward Rick Nash.
Stuart was given a minor penalty for elbowing 2:32 into San Jose's 9-2 win on Tuesday night. The league's Department of Player Safety handed out a stiffer punishment Wednesday.
Stuart will lose $55,384...
Sharks defenseman Brad Stuart has a hearing for his brutal, dirty, and unneeded hit on Rick Nash. These are the kinds of hits that the NHL is trying to ban from the game of hockey. Also, Nash was suffering from headaches after the game. Again, there are some people that are appalled by fighting in the NHL, I am appalled by these types of hits.

San Jose Sharks defenseman Brad Stuart will have a hearing Wednesday with the NHL Department of Player Safety for an incident during a game Tuesday night against the New York Rangers at SAP Center.
At 2:32 of the first period Stuart was assessed a minor penalty for elbowing after a hit on New York forward Rick Nash.
Nash played several more shifts in the first period but did not...
San Jose Sharks rookie forward Tomas Hertl stole the show on Tuesday night as he scored four goals in a 9-2 rout of the New York Rangers at the SAP Center.
Lost to some fans amid the excitement over Hertl’s remarkable performance was Sharks defenseman Brad Stuart‘s dangerous elbow to the head of Rangers star winger Rick Nash.
Stuart had a discipline hearing with the NHL on Wednesday...
New York Rangers forward Rick Nash did not return to the ice Tuesday night after taking an elbow to the head early in the first period from San Jose Sharks defenseman Bard Stuart, who was assessed a minor penalty in the game. After Thursday night’s loss in Phoenix, the Rangers have had three full days off before tonight’s contest in Los Angeles. The best news is that captain Ryan Callahan is back, with J.T. Miller being sent to Hartford to make room. Arron Asham will also make his debut tonight, as Jesper Fast will sit. This is because Darryl...
As Paul noted, Tim Thomas appeared to tweak his groin or some othe part of his "lower body" in the Florida Panthers' 2-1 loss to Philly on Tuesday, and while I was preparing to have my beard trimmed for the first time in six years, Pro Hockey Talk's Ryan Dadoun notes that Niklas Backstrom got dinged in the Wild's 3-2 loss to Nashville...
Darryl Sutter offered a harsh indictment of Jake Muzzin’s play to start the season following the team’s practice on Tuesday.
“He’s struggling a lot” Sutter said. Though Muzzin scored the Kings lone goal as part of his 17:12 of ice time during the team’s 3-1 loss to the New York Rangers on Monday he was also found to be at fault for the second period takeaway by Rick...
Sharks defenseman Brad Stuart was suspended for three games by the NHL on Wednesday for an illegal check to the head of Rick Nash in Tuesday's game against the New York Rangers.
If Stuart does not appeal the suspension he will not be back for the Sharks until the Oct. 17 game at Dallas missing Thursday's game at Vancouver Saturday's home game against Ottawa and Tuesday...
