In his career, Pekka Rinne has played against 28 teams in the regular season. The one team he hasn’t faced? Washington. That will change tonight when the Predators host the Washington Capitals.Rinne has faced the Capitals in the preseason before, but has never gotten in against Washington. He was injured last year when the Caps into town, and before that, Dan Ellis got the nod each time over Rinne.“It’s going to be an exciting team to play against,” Rinne said. “Backstrom is a really good playmaker and has been scoring some goals this year. Ovechkin has a great shot and is a really dynamic player. Same with Semin.”On top of the talented players like Backstrom, Ovechkin and Semin, the Capitals have a lot of depth up front.“It’s one of those teams that, going into the game, you expect to have a lot of offense. As a team, we have to stay patient. For me, I’ll have to stay on my toes at all times.”

I like Nashville

They're sort of like the anti-Caps - consistent - hardworking - overachieving - battlers.  They leave it all out there on the ice every time I watch them play.  I watched many of their games during last season's playoffs and enjoyed seeing them overcome the Anaheim Ducks and push the Stanley Cup Champion finalist Vancouver Canucks to six games in round two.  All but one...
