The general feeling surrounding Rangers practices leading up to the game on Long Island was that they were happy to finally depart from Europe and get back to some form of normalcy with their season. And what better way to start it off than by playing one of their biggest rivals – the Islanders. There was an ample amount of anticipation leading up to Saturday’s game, mostly because it had been a full week since the Rangers last played a game.
