The Ottawa Senators will wait until Sunday to decide if star winger Bobby Ryan is ready to suit up for an afternoon game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Ryan left late in Friday night’s 4-2 win over the Boston Bruins after taking an elbow to the head from defenceman Dennis Seidenberg. The Senators’ leading scorer (10 goals and 10 assists in 19 games) did skate with the team at a short practice Saturday afternoon, but wasn’t sure if he’d be ready to play in a game. “We weren’t sure, coming into the rink this morning, if (he’d be able to participate) and I spent quite a bit of time in the other room just kind of loosening things up and getting moving, but I felt a lot better today than I did last night, that’s for sure,” he said.
