Found March 11, 2014 on Sports Injury Alert:
The Buffalo Sabres announced that newbie Chris Stewart is likely done for the season. Stewart who was involved in a trade with the St Louis Blues, only played two games with his new team before suffering from a lower body injury. Resolue-Wikimedia CommonsThe injury suffered is a lower body injury that looks to be an ankle/foot injury as he was seen around the arena with an ankle around his right ankle. When questioned, Coach Ted Nolan said that with the injury Stewart has, the chances of him returning this season are very slim.“Stewart doesn’t look good right now. There are only five weeks left in the year and his injury is four-to-five weeks.”It would probably be better for Stewart to fully heal this season and help the team come out strong next season (one year remaining on his contract), then rush back and possibly reinjure himself. Stewart has yet to record a point for the Sabres...but with the St Louis Blues he has 15 goals and twenty-six points in his last fifty-eight games.

Exclusive: Ryan Vinz Shares A Once in a Lifetime Experience

Ryan Vinz will never forget the moment he suited up for the Buffalo Sabres (via veooz) It was just a normal day at work for Ryan Vinz. Sabres Winger Cory Conacher Got Patrick Kane’s OK Before Choosing No. 88

Buffalo Sabres winger Cory Conacher decided on wearing No. 88 when he was picked up from Ottawa off waivers on March 5, but not before he consulted a fellow player in the NHL who also sports those same digits. Conacher, who wore 89 while with the Senators and Tampa Bay, could’ve continued on with that number in Buffalo, but he chose to go with 88 out of respect for former Sabre...

PHOTO: Buffalo Sabres 'Girls Night Out' Ad is bad

You can't blame the Buffalo Sabres marketing department for trying anything to sell tickets. Their team is just atrocious this year, but they still have to make money. Ladies' night promotions are a thing -- the Washington Capitals have been doing them for years -- and over 30% of the league's fans are women, so advertising directly at them makes sense. This is just kind...
