Sergei Bobrovsky who is the reigning Vezina Trophy winner had to get help off the ice last night during the Columbus Blue Jackets game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.According to the Columbus Dispatches Aaron Portzline, Bobrovsky was unable to put any weight on his injured leg. His leg was apparently injured while the 25 year old was making a save. He had stopped all 18 of the Lightnings shots that he faced before getting injured. It was then up to Curtis McElhinney to come into the game and try to preserve the 1-0 lead and turn it into a win. There was no immediate word on whether the injury is serious or not. Bobrovsky was most likely not going to win a back to back Vezina trophy, but he is still a huge piece to the hopes of the Blue jackets this season and they certainly hope the injury is only minor. When the injury occurred, there was no contact. He was skating backwards after a glove save and hit his leg on the left post behind him.
