That is what the New York Rangers will be doing tonight in Washington when they look for their sixth straight win against the Washington Capitals. It is easy to say that the Blueshirts are on fire right now. They have won five straight games and are currently first not only in the Atlantic Division, but the entire Eastern Conference as well with a 22-8-4 record. On the other side, the Capitals are one struggling hockey club right now. They are inconsistent in all areas of their game and are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games. The coaching change has yet to have its full effect on the team and something needs to change sooner rather than later for Dale Hunter and his club. These two teams met back on Thanksgiving weekend. It was a game in which the Blueshirts came out on top with a 6-3 win and got some timely saves from netminder Henrik Lundqvist. Continue reading "Shooting for Six"
