With the addition of Vladimir Tarasenko to the roster finally, the team's offensive production has really come together. This season, St. Louis has excellent goaltending (again) in Jaroslav Halak and Brian Elliot, good defensive support especially with the acquisition of Wade Redden and an even better offensive cast. A healthy Blues team is a dangerous and good Blues team. Redden, mentioned earlier, will not be playing with the team because of an immigration issue. Even without Redden, the Blues were able to smash the Red Wings in a 6-0 route that shocked the entire hockey world. This Blues team is real and not to be messed with. For the Nashville Predators, the rust has to be off and the sloppiness must be discontinued for this game. The Predators must get back to their game and be sure to play the full sixty minutes, not just little spurts of good play. Turnovers can not happen at the same amount or the Blues will make Nashville pay, as seen in the game against Detroit. All four lines will have to produce to match their four lines. Lastly, Pekka Rinne will have to be more careful with the puck and be less Tomas Vokoun "Evil Knievel-ish". Defenseman Victor Bartley was reassigned to the Milwaukee Admirals Sunday, so Jonathon Blum will be the lone extra defenseman.
