Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow is expected to miss his team's next three games - beginning with Friday's contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Morrow suffered an upper body injury during Monday's 3-1 home win over the Edmonton Oilers. He is not expected to go on the team's two-game road trip to Phoenix (Saturday) and Colorado (Monday).
The 32-year-old Morrow may be able to return for the Stars' home game against the Ottawa Senators on Thursday.
Morrow has collected three goals, six assists and 39 penalty minutes in 20 games this season.
