Brad Richards' game-winning goal with just 0.1 seconds left on the clock was a memorable one last night in Glendale, Arizona, where the Rangers defeated the Coyotes, 3-2. It is always the desire of a fan to re-live such moments over and over and over again, so I give to you the video, along with the gameclock, of last night's incredible buzzer-beater...

h/t to reader Adam for posting this video in the comments of last night's postgame...

According to head coach John Tortorella, defenseman Steve Eminger will be out of the lineup for some time with a separated shoulder. Eminger left Saturday's contest in the second period after going into the boards hard, shoulder-first. Now it is obviously up to the Rangers to fill his roster spot for this week's games against the Devils, Islanders and Flyers.

The tricky part is that the Rangers will have to make that move today as the league-wide holiday roster freeze will take effect tomorrow and will be in place until December 27. Personally, I'm expecting Tim Erixon to be the one to get the call, as he is the best available option to fill the spot.

This will certainly be a test for the Rangers this week, because they will be playing without three of their top seven defenseman; Staal, Sauer and Eminger. It's also an opportunity for the organization to prove just how deep they are at the position, though.

And while on the topic, things are looking good for Marc Staal as he continues to skate daily. Here's the latest on Marc from Andrew Gross of Ranger Rants:

The upside for the Rangers is that Staal continues to skate hard without setbacks and is intensifying his off-ice workouts to regain strength and conditioning. He's still out indefinitely but the signs are definitely there that he'll be able to return to the Rangers' lineup, possibly still with a good portion of the season left to be played.
