Clarke MacArthur had a career year for Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2010/11 season. MacArthur’s 21 goals and 41 assist were career highs for him. After MacArthur’s performance he earned a two year $6.5 million contract in the off-season. Last season was a great story for MacArthur, this season a whole different tale of highs and lows ought to be told. As of January 23rd, 2012, MacArthur has registered 12 goals and 9 assist for 21 points in the 2011/12 season. Which puts MacArthur on pace from around 21 goals and 16 assist for this year. Which means that MacArthur is on pace to record a little over half the point he registered last season. Looking at MacArthur’s game log, he started off the season with 1 point in the first five game. Then recorded 7 points in the next 5 games, but then went pointless in the next 5 games.
