In the hours before his fourth NHL game and first Game 7, Chris Kreider discusses his comfort level in the professional game (NHL.com)...

"I'm more and more comfortable and things start coming second nature. It's being in the defensive zone and being a little bit more aware of what you're supposed to be doing and where you're supposed to be.

"If you can get there a half-second earlier, it can make all the difference."

On his feeling going into tonight...

"I'm excited. I've never played in a Game 7 and I've only played one game [at Madison Square Garden]...I can't speak from experience. I've heard unbelievable things, so I'm really excited."

Kreider adds that his teammates have been extremely helpful acclimating him to the NHL.

...just have a feeling this kid is going to be huge tonight. I know he's only played three games, but he seems unflappable.

...amazing that the Rangers have two rookies that are relied on so heavily in the playoffs. It really is a fun time Rangers fans.
