Carolina Hurricanes center Tim Brent went into a premature celebration after shooting the puck off the goalpost in Thursday night's NHL game against the St. Louis Blues.

Brent obviously didn't see that he missed, but it's hard to understand how he didn't hear the puck hit the post, considering that viewers watching the video can hear it.

Fortunately, the Hurricanes won the game 2-0, so Brent won't get too much flack for this one.
