Here we go again, the man who is made of glass even though hockey is in his heart, is injured again. Tim Connolly who signed a 2 year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs this past off-season has now sustained his second injury of the season.
The first time Connolly missed the first eight games of the regular season after crashing heavily into the boards during a pre-season.This time it’s an upper body injury that supposedly was suffered in the first penalty kill against the Boston Bruins on Saturday. Connolly is expected to be out anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks.
Connolly has only played in 6 games and has registered 4 points.
Brian Burke will be calling up a player from the Toronto Marlies to fill in for Connolly. I have heard whispers that red hot Joe Colborne could be the one to come up.

Stuart Percy is a 6′ 1″ 185lbs defenseman from the Oakville, Ontario. He was named captain of the his OHL team, the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors this weekend. James Reimer responds to the Angry Tim Horton's Guy
Hello Tim, the guy from the Tim Horton's Ad I dressed up as for Halloween,
Special thanks to @DasNordlicht91 and @kid_kawartha for the still.
I’m sorry if my costume was offensive. It was kind of an inside joke with me and the other Leafs guys. They kept buying me Tim Horton’s coffee (even though I don’t really drink coffee) and asking me about a BELT...
Luke Schenn and The Short Term Memory
I’ve written about it before and hoped to have gotten it all off of my chest. But it features so prominently as a symptom of the psychosis linked to Leaf fans.

Shaune Vetter: Tuesday's Tirade!
I feel bad for Phil Kessel, I really do. He's leading the NHL in goals with 10 and points with 21. His team is currently first in their division with 19 points, and the Leafs actually look like they could be a playoff team for the first time since Matt Sundin was the captain and the lockout was just something fans feared "might" happen but he's still asked the same...
Mike Augello: A BENEFICIAL BLOWOUT?
After a month of success, recognition and notoriety, the Toronto Maple Leafs were bound to have a reality check. It came in the form of the Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins, who inflicted a 7-0 drubbing in front of the perturbed patrons of the Air Canada Center on Saturday night.

Mike Augello: BRITTLE TIM BREAKS AGAIN
In the 2000 film âUnbreakableâ, a central character portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson was nicknamed âMr. Glassâ because he was born with a rare bone disease that caused him to have several breaks throughout his life. The character would break ribs if he sneezed too hard or shatter his fibula if he walked down a flight of stairs.
That same year, 19-year-old center...
