In the offseason, Jaromir Jagr signed for 3.3 million with the Flyers.
The Penguins had that money available but they decided to pay Tyler Kennedy 2.0 million and Steve Sullivan 1.5 million.

Pittsburgh Penguins left wing Steve Sullivan is expected to be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Colorado Avalanche.
