In the few games that Ilya Kovalchuk played in Philips Arena as a visitor after the Thrashers traded him in February 2010 to New Jersey, it was common for fans to shower him with boos every time he touched the puck.
Who knew that when the Thrashers moved to Winnipeg this past offseason that that tradition would seemingly travel with them.

Yesterday, the NHL Board of Governors approved a new league alignment that will eliminate the current format of two conferences and six divisions and implement a new four conference league. The four new groups will have either seven or eight teams in each, and will eventually be named after former NHL players.
Not much will change for the New Jersey Devils, as the entire Atlantic...
