When the Bruins made Tyler Seguin the No. 2 pick in the 2010 NHL entry draft, B's fans daydreamed about what the young forward would bring to the club.
They found out early and often that Seguin's playmaking ways would turn him into a franchise cornerstone. What Bruins fans probably didn't see coming, though, was that Seguin would one day be featured wearing just his pads, holding an ax and playing for a Swiss team.
But that's exactly where the NHL lockout has left us.
The B's forward continues to stay sharp across the pond, playing for EHC Biel in Switzerland. His game might not be the only thing that Seguin is keeping sharp, though. In what appears to be a promotional photo for the Swiss club, the team released a photo of a shirtless Seguin holding an ax.
Blackhawks All-Star Patrick Kane, who recently joined the team as well, has his own ax-wielding picture as well.
See the Seguin photo below, with a stick tap to Pro Hockey Talk for sharing.

Seeing Tyler Seguin in a uniform that's not the familiar black and gold may look weird, but the 20-year-old is still playing hockey -- and scoring.

To say that Tyler Seguin is flourishing during his time in Switzerland -- well, that just wouldn't give his performance so far justice.
Through 14 games with his club, EC Biel, Seguin has 22 points, including 10 goals. That includes his most impressive performance -- a four-goal game just this week.
Seguin got one of those goals thanks to the newest addition...
Hey remember that time Zdeno Chara and Miroslav Satan played on the same team?
Well, Chara doesn't. And after this hit he laid on Satan (skip to :53 seconds) we don't think Satan will remember much of it either:
No word on if Slovan Bratislava fans called the cops on Chara after the hit or not. Pretty sure Montreal did just out of habit...
Ever wonder what Ray Bourque was like in the locker room or what types of discussions the Bruins front office had before drafting Tyler Seguin? Well, the Boston Bruins Foundation is giving fans a chance to ask team president Cam Neely questions such as those as part of a lunch with the Hall of Famer.

After taking care of business against old foes like Montreal and Philadelphia, the next team the Bruins would face in their 2011 Stanley Cup run was a bit of an upstart — the Tampa Bay Lightning.
After defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round and sweeping the top-seeded Washington Capitals in the second, the Lightning were riding high as they ventured into the TD Garden...
