Cole is not injured though.  He will be missing three games due to suspension. The NHL's Department of Player Safety announced on Sunday that Cole would be suspended for three games for a hit to the head made at center ice of the Blues 3-0 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night. Cole lowered his shoulder and caught Detroit forward Justin Abdelkater square in the jaw during Saturday night's game. Brendan Shanahan, the NHL's police man on such plays, explains in the video below why Cole will be suspended for three games. Cole has appeared in 13 games for the Blues this season, posting one goal and three assists while averaging 16:58 per game in ice time.
