I can’t blame him for this epic celebration. How would you feel scoring this amazing goal with 4.7 seconds left to tie the game after having a goal disallowed earlier that would have tied it? Batting the shot out of the air to put it in the net was a display of pure athleticism. It was a huge goal for the rookie, and the Oilers ended up going on to win the game in overtime...

Check out this goal by Edmonton Oilers rookie forward Nail Yakupov. There is a school of thought that the NHL is starting to look like the European soccer leagues with some of the over the top celebrations of the players after they score a goal.
