Towards the end of today's Penguins-Flyers contest, a melee broke out on the ice and between the benches. Flyers head coach Peter Laviolette and Penguins assistant head coach Tony Granato jawed at one another after Joe Vitale's hit on Flyers forward Danny Briere. The tensions were already boiling leading up to this line brawl, as the Flyers took it to the Penguins in a 6-3 victory.



The in-state rivals will meet again next Saturday before likely facing off in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Buckle up!
