Ryan Hamilton's goal with 11.2 seconds left in regulation capped a hat trick and gave the Western Conference All-Stars a 7-6 victory over the East in the AHL All-Star Classic on Monday.
The West led 4-1 after the first period, but the lead could have been greater except for the fact that Rockford's Martin St. Pierre hit the left post and Providence goalie Niklas Svedberg stopped Hamilton on a breakaway.
Houston's Justin Zucker sparked the West by scoring at 7:39 on a backhand for a 1-0 lead.
West goalie Justin Peters earned an assist on Zucker's goal.
The East tied it at 11:14 when Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's Chad Kolarik snapped home a wrist shot from the bottom of the right circle which beat Charlotte's Peters (12 saves).
