Forwards (23): Matthew Bissonnette, Ryan Bourque, Andrew Courtney, Ryan Flanigan, Tommy Grant, Micheal Haley, Danny Hobbs, Marek Hrivik, Kyle Jean, Jordie Johnston, Chad Kolarik, Chris Kreider, J.T. ...last week I posted the Whale's preliminary roster. Now this week it's the training camp roster. Non--stop excitement on the blog these days.

Jess Rubenstein at The Prospect Park does a great job of breaking down the roster.

Meanwhile, Blueshirts United spoke with Rangers Assistant GM Jef Gorton about undrafted signee Marek Hrivik, who came out of no where putting up nine points (5g, 4a) in nine playoff games for the Whale after signing a PTO at the end of last season, earning himself a contract with the Whale in the offseason...

"Hrivik came in and performed exceptionally well with the Whale last season. He earned his contract. We like what we see in him, and now want to see what he shows over a full season."

...besides the obvious guys, Hrivik is the prospect I'm most excited about following this year. Size, with sick hands. Yep, he's got my attention.

Finally, two guys who aren't on the roster as they get more experience overseas are Oscar Lindberg and Jesper Fast. And according to Blueshirts United, boy have they been lighting it up

Lindberg has two goals and five assists for seven points in five games for SEL team Skelleftea AIK. While Fast Fast scored two goals and was plus-2 for the game in HV-71 Jonkoping's 5-3 home win over AIK Solna Tuesday night.
