Wild prospects getting invaluable experience

ST. PAUL, Minn. The Minnesota Wild have been eager to get their young prospects to Minnesota in preparation for what they hope is an impactful offseason, but the prospects have had some unfinished business this spring. Minnesota will possibly have as many as seven key young players turning pro this season and many will have a chance to help the Wild at the NHL level. Most of them...

Brad Ratgen: The Granlund Era Has Begun in Minnesota. Will it Matter?

Not since Marian Gaborik has a draft pick signing with the Wild, the team that drafted him, generated as much interest among Minnesota Wild fans. Many are ready for the infusion of youth that we are about to see over the next few seasons as the Wild possibly turn the franchise around. Their savior this time around is Mikael Granlund. The main question I have is will he have the...

Wild sign Mikael Granlund, the drama is finally over but should Wild fans expect?

Not living in the Twin Cities anymore as I used to; I still have most of my friends and family living there and all they can talk about lately is all the rain.  In Minnesota, the weather is predictable in only one way; that its completely unpredictable.  You can have scorching heat one part of the week and then bitterly cold and frost by the end of it.  I've seen it happen...

Classic Sid - Granlund would look better with Parise

English: Zach Parise (Photo credit: Wikipedia) Duh! I wonder if Sid has even been to a hockey game lately? I always get a kick out of Sid Hartman's writings - although hockey has never been a strong subject for Sid. Of course Parise would look better along side Mikael Granlund and or Mikko Koivu for that matter. There are probably 25-29 teams that are interested in...
