FRIDAY'S STORY LINE: The Wild placed 22-year old forward Colton Gillies on waivers. He has until Saturday to clear, and if he does he will be sent to Houston. A 2007 first-round pick (16th overall), Gillies has zero goals and two assists in 37 games this season. The 6-foot-4 forward seems to have lost all confidence of late. Despite the tough decision, both Yeo and general manager Chuck Fletcher know it is the right one for Gillies and his future. "Assuming he clears waivers tomorrow, I think it will be a great opportunity for him to go to Houston and get his game going, Fletcher said. "He's a young player, he's got a great future ahead of him, and I think this is the best for decision for his long-term development. HE SAID IT: "I have seen what that guy can do, and he has gone to war for me and for our organization. It is not an easy thing, but for the big picture and for his future he needs to play, Yeo on Gillies
