ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild announced Monday thatthey have recalled goaltender Darcy Kuemper from the teams AHL affiliate, theIowa Wild. Minnesota also reassigned goalie Johan Gustafsson to Iowa.Gustafsson was originally recalled on Nov. 15 afterMinnesotas Niklas Backstrom suffered an injury during the Wilds win againstToronto. Josh Harding replaced Backstrom in that game and also started Sundayagainst Winnipeg, meaning Gustafsson did not play during his brief recall.In 10 games this year, the 23-year-old Kuemper is 3-7 with a2.97 goals-against average. He did make one appearance with Minnesota thisyear, starting against Toronto on Oct. 15.The Wild are now 13-4-4 on the season after Sundays 2-1 winover the Jets.
