ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild announced Saturday that it has recalled goaltender Darcy Kuemper from the ECHL's Ontario Reign. Kuemper, 21, was 4-0-0 with a 1.47 goals against average in four starts for Ontario this season. At Ontario, he stopped 95 of the 101 shots he faced. The 6-foot-4, 213-pound native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan leads the ECHL in GAA. Last season Kuemper posted a record of 45-12-2 with the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League. Kuemper was selected by the Wild in the sixth round of the 2009 NHL entry draft. He will wear sweater No. 35 with Minnesota.
