SAINT PAUL, Minn. Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Chad Rau from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) under emergency conditions.
Rau, 25 (11887), made his NHL debut Jan. 21 and scored the game-winning goal against Dallas. He has scored two game-winning goals in seven games for the Wild this season. Rau ranks fourth in scoring with 31 points (11-20=31) and is a plus-6 in 58 contests with Houston this season. The 5-foot-11, 184-pound forward is a native of Eden Prairie, Minn., and wears sweater No. 36 with Minnesota.

ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild announced today that it has recalled goalie Matt Hackett from Houston of the American Hockey League.
Hackett, 22, is 3-5-0 with a 2.30 goals-against-average in 11 games with the Wild this season. The 6-foot-2, 179-pound native of London, Ont., is 17-13-4 with a 2.41 GAA in 35 games with the Houston Aeros this season.
