The Minnesota Wild made an early season transaction Wednesday, sending forward Eric Nystrom to the Dallas Stars for future considerations.The 28-year old Nystrom signed with Minnesota in 2010 after playing two seasons with the Calgary Flames. In 82 games for the Wild last season, Nystrom recorded 12 points (4-8=12) and 30 pentalty minutes. During his five seasons in the NHL, Nystrom has tallied 51 points (23-28=51) and 221 penalty minutes in 286 games.
