SATURDAY'S STORY LINE: Mike Lundin, who has been a healthy scratch in 16 of the last 20 games will be back in the lineup tonight for the Minnesota Wild, versus Columbus. "It has been long enough for him and we want to give him a chance here. He has played some really good hockey for us," said coach Mike Yeo. At different points of the season, injecting a new player into the lineup has provided a spark to the team. Yeo is hoping Lundin's presence can add a spark. "I think having a veteran guy come in and add a bit of a steadying presence and we have seen at different times when maybe we needed an injection of some energy a different guy coming into the lineup can provide that," noted Yeo. Lundin, 27, a Minnesota native, signed with the Wild as a free agent in the off-season. Tonight will be only Lundin's 16th game of the season. Lundin spent the beginning of the season on IR with a back injury and since he has returned from injury he has had a hard time finding a regular spot in the lineup. The defenseman is happy to be back in the lineup tonight. "It's been tough. I have been watching a lot of hockey. I am just itching to get back," noted Lundin this morning. Lundin said there will be nerves tonight but they should go away quickly. "It is definately hard getting rid of those jitters and getting yourself up to game pace that first game. Usually when you get through the first period it is smooth sailing after that," added Lundin. With Lundin's return Justin Falk will be a healthy scratch. STAUBITZ CLEARS WAIVERS: Forward Brad Staubitz cleared waivers today. Staubitz has not yet been assigned to Houston. It appears Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher is trying to find a trade partner to take Staubitz. HE SAID IT: "I just want us to get out here and play a really good game tonight that is all we can ask of ourselves that. That is all we can expect of ourselves is to go out and play our game and play our game really well. I know it is a motivated group inside our locker room, but we have to make sure we do it the right way as well. We are playing a good team tonight you can look at the standings all you want, but look at the games I have watched from the recently they are playing good hockey." Yeo on what he expects from his team tonight
