This offseason, there has been a lack of moves made by Sharks General Manager, Doug Wilson. However, there has not been a lack of interest and intrigue surrounding the current San Jose roster. Most of the speculation this summer has revolved around potential trades involving Patrick Marleau, Jonathan Cheechoo, Christian Ehrhoff, and goaltender Evgeni Nabokov. One thing that has not received as much attention is the departure of back-up goalie Brian Boucher and what this loss means for the goaltending situation in the Bay Area. Right now, the two netminders on the Sharks roster are starting goalie Evgeni Nabokov and 23-year-old Thomas Greiss. The young, German-born goaltender was a third round choice, 94th pick overall, back in 2004. Since then, he has seen limited action in the NHL. The native of Koln, Germany has only played three regular season games for San Jose, posting a 0-1 record with a GAA of 3.26 and a .860 save percentage. All of these stats come from the 2007-2008 season....
