The Blackhawks-Canucks rivalry doesn’t just involve the teams in Chicago and Vancouver.
On Sunday night the AHL’s Rockford IceHogs (Chicago’s affiliate), and the Chicago Wolves (Vancouver’s affiliate) showed hockey fans that the bad blood between the franchises trickles down into the AHL, too.

Blackhawks agree with Bollig, Smith
The Chicago Blackhawks say the team has agreed to terms with forwards Brandon Bollig and Ben Smith on two-year contracts.
The 25-year-old Bollig was an NHL rookie last season, playing in 22 games, including four playoff games. He has eight goals, seven assists and 285 penalty minutes in 111 career games over parts of three AHL seasons in Rockford.
