Wild recall Ortmeyer, send Almond to Houston
SAINT PAUL, Minn. The Minnesota Wild on Friday recalled forward Jed Ortmeyer from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League and reassigned forward Cody Almond to Houston.
Ortmeyer, 33, has one assist in 10 games with the Wild this season. Almond, 22, has tallied one goal in nine games with Minnesota.
