GARTH: McCormick Skating
The Sabres returned to the First Niagara ice surface this morning to install their game plan for the Boston Bruins, who defeated St. Louis on Wednesday night.
All Sabres skated, save Brad Boyes. its not known if Boyes is injured, sick or if he was given a maintenance day.

The Sabres skated at 11:30am at First Niagara Center. They will fly to Philly this afternoon.
@billhoppenhl reports that Cody McCormick, Brad Boyes, and Robyn Regehr were not on the ice today. McCormick has an upper body injury. Boyes and Regehr? Maintenance?

Sabres recall Tropp with McCormick hurt (AP)
The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Corey Tropp from the minors to fill in for injured center Cody McCormick. Buffalo's 2007 third-round draft pick rejoins the Sabres a week after making his NHL debut, in which he had a goal and assist in four games. Tropp also has four goals and three assists in 11 games this season with Rochester of the American Hockey League.

VIDEO: Tanner Glass not made of glass, cuts Cody McCormick
The Winnipeg Jets’ Tanner Glass is anything but fragile.
The moderate scrapper exchanged rapid punches with the Buffalo Sabres’ Cody McCormick during Tuesday’s game in Buffalo, leaving a bit of red on the ice.
It didn’t appear until a rough takedown by Glass that McCormick started to bleed. He was escorted to the back for examination and a bit of repairs....
