As promised the Sabres sent Andrey Makarov back to Rochester so he could help the Amerks play three games in three nights. Buffalo gets Connor Knapp to back up Matt Hackett this weekend. Kevin Freiheit: Knapp loses in pro debut

For the first time in 36 games for the Amerks, it wasn't David Leggio starting in goal. Connor Knapp made his pro debut against the Bulldogs and looked as if he would get the win.
