Per the Globe and Mailâs James Mirtle, the Leafs have demoted forwards Spencer Abbott, David Broll, Greg McKegg and Stuart Percy to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL.
The Leafs have to get down to 23 players for the opening of the regular season and it is expected that a number of players will be placed on waivers at Noon.
