Montoya, Ullstrom to Practice; Poulin Could be Called Up
After a poor finish to a three game road trip, the Islanders may be getting some good news.
Goaltender Al Montoya and forward David Ullstrom are scheduled to practice with the team today according to Newsday’s Arthur Staple. Both have been out since December 21 with concussions suffered during a game against the Winnipeg Jets.

Isles Call Up David Ullstrom
Earlier today the Islanders announced the call up of forward David Ullstrom from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
This season Ullstrom leads the Sound Tigers with 14 points (12 goals and two assists) in 17 games. He is also tied for the AHL goal scoring lead. The former 2008 fourth round draft pick will make his debut tomorrow against the Penguins.
