Sharks reassign F McCarthy to Worcester

San Jose Sharks GM Doug Wilson announced on Saturday that the club has reassigned forward John McCarthy to the Worcester Sharks (AHL). McCarthy has recorded two points (one goal, one assist) and four penalty minutes in 36 games with San Jose this season. In two games with Worcester, the Boston, Mass., native has tallied one goal and two penalty minutes.
